To cut the hefty government monthly bill spent on wages, 528 unqualified civil servants will be removed in December and all civil servants will be retired at 65, including those above 65 by end of January 2018

The government under pressure from global protest by Zimbabweans both in the country and across the diaspora will cut down the civil service numbers by terminating the services of 528 unqualified or more specific civil servants who don’t hold the pre requisite qualifications for employment in those posts at a cost of US$8,7million in their severance packages.
Further to this, the government through the Public Service commission will retire all civil servants who have reached the retirement age of 65 by the end of January 2018. To the Discerning eye, its a noble initiative, why not go further and place the cut off for service as an MP, Minister and President to 65 then wipe away the current elderly Mnangagwa, Zanu Pf stalwarts, and securocrats and bring in fresh blood, new ideas, vibrant youthfull leaders to run the nation.

Well done, Zimbabweans, your voice matters, they are listening. Dont rush to credit the Mnangagwa government which is the same people who were inflicting the present damage while under Mugabe and enforcing his policies and shutting down the people.
They are simply now listening to the people, rectifying what they have always known yet denied publicly. It is no secret that the civil service was overstaffed with relatives of Mugabe, zanu pf talwarts and securocrats, many unqualified individuals and others. You have to be alier to pretend you dont know that there are countless unqualified, nurse, teachers, cops and other civilservants who only got trained because they were well connected or had the bribe to pay their way through, lest you forget almost 7000 green bombers, all Zanu pf votes were removed by the public service commission last month.

We are a nation now bent on rebuilding and will go through difficult times but the very same constitution that is now being correctly enforced by the new government is not a Zanu pf creation. It is the new National constitution that the people of Zimbabwe accepted and voted for, from the GNU leaders who all signed up to it with Mugabe before it came into force. If the people of Zimbabwe are unhappy with a government working according to a constitution chosen by the people, then the people must use the democratic channels to change their choices,..use the vote!
